How to Reach:
By Air: The nearest airport is Bhuntar Airport (Kullu-Manali Airport), approximately 50 km away. From the airport, one can hire a taxi or use local transportation to reach Old Manali. It will take 1 hour and 30 minutes to reach there.
By Train: The nearest railway station is Joginder Nagar Railway Station, located about 166 km away. You can reach Old Manali in 4 hours by taxi or bus. Alternatively, Chandigarh Railway Station is a major railhead at a distance of approximately 310 km. From there you can reach Old Manali in 6 hours and 30 minutes. The major trains operating on this route are Kalka Shatabdi Express, Chandigarh SF Express, and Paschim SF Express.
By Bus: There are regular government (HRTC and UTC) and private bus services from major cities to Manali. The distance from Delhi to Manali is around 540 km, and buses take approximately 14-16 hours. From the Manali Bus Stand, it is a short distance to Old Manali. You can hire local transportation or a taxi to reach the starting point of the trek.
Your adventurous Bhrigu Lake trek begins as you reach Manali. Upon arrival, head to your campsite. The rest of your day is to discover the charm of Manali, surrounded by snow-capped mountains. You can visit Hidimba Temple, Jogini waterfalls, or can visit Cafe 1947 to enjoy delightful time. Later, head back to your campsite for an overnight stay.
In the morning, head towards the taxi stand in Old Manali to get transferred to Gulaba. As you reach Gulaba, your thrilling trek from Gulaba to Rola Kholi begins. Travel through lush green open meadows and witness river streams passing along the trail. Upon reaching, Rola Kholi, settle-in at your campsite for an overnight stay.
Start early today for your trek to Bhrigu Lake, as you have to cover a lot of distance today. On the way, witness panoramic views of the Pir Pinjal and Dhauladhar ranges. As you reach Bhrigu Lake, settle-in at your camps for an overnight stay.
